The school reception and telephone system is staffed from 8.00am to 4.30 during term time. Please be aware that the telephone system is very busy between 8am-9am and 3pm-4pm, so please be patient if your call is not answered straight away.

Visitors to the School

Visitors to the school must always report to the main school reception, where they will be asked to sign in. This is an essential health and safety and security requirement.

If you have anything you would like to discuss in person with a member of staff, you must make an appointment. This is particularly necessary if you wish to meet a member of teaching staff.

As you can appreciate, teachers are very busy people who are usually teaching classes and it is rarely possible for them to meet with you if you arrive at school without first making a prior arrangement.

In exceptional circumstances i.e., those involving child protection or a genuine emergency then, of course we will endeavour to locate the best member of staff to meet with parents and do everything we can to resolve situations, but ordinarily parents are kindly asked to make appointments.
