A message to parents and students from the Learning Director, Ms Arabas

I am delighted to introduce you to the English Department.

Our purpose is to 

INSPIRE CREATIVE COMMUNICATION

by developing language skills of all our students and encouraging love of Literature. 

To do this we:

FOSTER confidence and competence in reading, writing, speaking and listening;

PROVIDE a variety of learning contexts;

ENCOURAGE an appreciation of the richness and diversity of language, literature and media;

APPRECIATE the diversity of English in a local, national and global context and how this relates to cultural understanding.
