Lessons cover all areas of the English Curriculum and are organised around departmentally devised units of work.  These ensure students experience a broad and balanced curriculum.

Core units are based on the following areas for each year group in KS3 

Reading

Writing

Media

Speaking and Listening

Shakespeare (speaking and listening unit) 

Students in KS3 have three one hour lessons a week and homework once a week.
