Kingsmead is a large organisation with over 150 staff many of whom felt they would prefer to make a donation to charity as an alternative to sending large numbers of Christmas cards. 

In 2008, Kingsmead staff nominated two charities; Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital and Macmillan Cancer Relief.  Staff who wished to participate pledged to make donations to be sent to the two charities instead of sending cards to colleagues. 

We are proud to announce that as a result of this fundraising effort, Kingsmead staff sent donations in excess of £300 to each charity.
