Environmental awareness is an increasingly important aspect of our work at Kingsmead.

Students working under the direction of Mrs Knight and Ms Wilson have undertaken a number of projects to enhance the environment at Kingsmead. In the Spring of 2010, some bird nesting boxes were installed in one of the garden areas. There is a webcam in one of these boxes which updates approximately every 10 seconds.

As you can see there are now bluetits nesting in the box and this was how the box looked just a moment ago. You can refresh the page to see an updated picture. Alternatively, this link will give you a permanently updated view.
