Our Aim

To encourage and develop students' awareness and perception of how technology affects our daily life.

At Kingsmead School we believe in passing on life skills to each and every student!  The practical experience offered in Food and Textiles Technology will remain in the hearts and minds of our students for years to come.  Our students take great pride in the things they create in Textiles and the dishes they make during Food Technology.

Design and Technology is more thant just problem solving, it involves the whole process of producing a solution from conception to evaluation.  All Design and Technology courses will allow students the opportunity to develop their practical skills and gain a greater understanding of the industrial practices, systems and control and environmental issues.
