Attendance Line

It is parents' legal responsibility to see that their child/children attend(s) school. If a student is absent from school a parent or carer MUST ring our attendance line every day the student is absent.  The number is:

Alternatively, parents or carers may wish to email school to report an absence.  Messages can be sent to:-

As with phone calls, please email as soon as possible on the first day of absence and every day that the student is absentWhen your child returns to school they MUST bring a note from home explaining their absence.

Cases of persistent absence have to be referred to the Educational Welfare Service, which discharges the school's statutory responsibility in relation to school attendance (The Education Act 1996).
