WELCOME TO THE MATHS DEPARTMENT
Mathematics is a large department consisting of 11 full time mathematics teachers and 3 members who have teaching commitments in other subject areas. Many of these have positions of senior responsibility which include 2 Deputy Head Teachers and 2 Learning Directors of Year. Developing a positive attitude to mathematics, including confidence, enjoyment and perseverance is a fundamental aim of the department. We have a clear departmental ethos to challenge all learners, raise attainment and break down barriers to all and celebrate achievement.
