Unit 1 - Investigating Media - a 2 hour exam taken in June of Year 12
Unit 3 - Media Critical Perspectives - a 2 hour exam taken in June of Year 13
COURSEWORK
Unit 2 - Two linked production pieces and evaluation in Year 12
Unit 4 - Media Research and Production (Practical coursework and written investigation) in Year 13

Progression
At A2 in 2007 there was an 100% A-C pass rate. Candidates' independent studies received praise from the moderator on their critical autonomy, which is a whole school focus. All pupils achieved their TMG or above. This reflected the support structure of the sixth form and the positive working relationships between students and staff.
The AS results were very positive and a healthy start to those students going on to A2. There was a 100% A-D pass . At the top end it was pleasing to see 6 students achieving an A grade at this juncture.
