Media Studies Students Design Leaflet for Local Jobs Fair
Kingsmead School's Media Studies Department and G&T team were commissioned by Enfield, North MP Nick de Bois to create an advertising campaign for "The Enfield Jobs Fair" which took place on 21st January 2011 at Southbury Leisure Centre.
Louise Brown and Shanae Staple were charged with leading the KS4 & KS5 cohort to produce leaflets, beer mats and bus posters to promote the event all over Enfield Town.
Mrs Barry received a letter from the House of Commons from Nick de Bois thanking Kingsmead for their part in the production of the advertising materials which were used for the fair. He said: 'The team will be pleased to know that over five thousand campaign cards and one thousand beer mats have been distributed using the 'Action' (Chasing a Bus') concept.'

BeCreative Film Education Competition.
KS4- Year 10 Media students entered the national BeCreative Film Education Competition. The competition attracted a huge volume of UK students aged 16-19.
A group of our students made it onto the judges shortlist for their effective poster campaign demonstrating the impact on illegal activity on individuals. These students were
Sasha Jethwa, Sana Khoshnaw, Ali Hamit, who who a DVD each. Their work will be showcased on the National Film Education website. (posters attached) Big up Big up
