Welcome to Kingsmead's Music Department!

I am incredibly proud of the Music Department, both staff and students, and our work has been identified by OfSTED and HMI as outstanding.

Kingsmead Music Department strives to allow students to grow as they develop as musicians from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.

We aim to develop creativity, performance skills, and an appreciation of music whilst fostering a supportive atmosphere allowing students to achieve their very best.

We offer many opportunities within both the curriculum and the extended curriculum.
