Lessons from Auschwitz project

The History Department have announced the selection of two Year 13 students, Helen Upcraft and Abby Clark from 7 highly worthy applicants to represent Kingsmead in the Holocaust Educational Trust's "Lessons From Auschwitz" project.  It involves students in a whole day visit to Auschwitz to take place in May this year, as well as two half day seminars (before and after the visit).  One of the conditions of the project is that students disseminate what they have learned when they return: we will be suggesting they might prepare an assembly.

Further details of this important educational project can be seen here.
