Mayor of Enfield's Award 4 Young People

Congratulations to 6th Former Christiana Langma who was recently nominated for the 2009 Enfield Governor Awards 4 Young People.

Christina in a diligent, high achieving student but she offers so much more to the school environment than that!  She recently organised a group of students to bake and sell cakes in order to raise money and awareness for Jeans 4 Genes Day.  She mentors Year 9-11 students who need help in Maths and is always willing to help other students.  On the recent Study, Achieve, Suceed Days, she acted as a group leader, helping Year 11 students with activities aimed to prepare them for their forthcoming GCSE exams.  Christina regularly volunteers at Bush Hill Park Primary School, assisting with their after-school activities and has volunteered as a helper at the Mayor of Enfield's annual Charity Fun Run at Forty Hall and at the London Half Marathon at Hyde Park.

Christina is an outstanding role model, she engages with others and contributes to the school community and beyond - well done Christina!
