During his visit on Friday morning, Nick de Bois met about 120 students including students in the sixth form studying Politics at A level.  He commented, "Anyone who thinks younger people are not engaged in politics would be mistaken based on what I experienced today - I was subjected to all the key issues of the moment and thoroughly enjoyed myself.  I hope the students did as well."

Headteacher, Yvonne Barry said, "Yet again our students have done us proud.  Every student that Nick de Bois met impressed him with their excellent conduct and commitment to their learning.  I am delighted that our local MP took time from his busy schedule to see the outstanding work which goes on at Kingsmead and very grateful that he is so supportive of our school."
