Send my Sister to School

Organised by Miss Ladds, we recently collected almost £300 pounds for the 'Send my Sister to School' campaign.  In some parts of Africa it costs as little as 50p per term for some children to go to school.  Girls get even less of an opportunity than boys to an education so hopefully through us working together more girls across the world will have the same rights to an education as boys.  Commenting on the campaing, Prime Minister David Camerson said: 'I am delighted to welcome the campaign....The fact that across our world 39 million girls are out of school and even if they are in school, the gender gaps we see are still appalling. '
