Samantha Lawrence (Martin)

From little acorns . . .

A Geography project surveying car exhaust fumes on Sketty Road and Southbury Road sparked an interest in Environmental Science which has led Samantha to study for a PhD at Hertfordshire University and receive a  John Rose award for her work on atmospheric pollution.  Part of this award is a grant to publicise her research and so Samantha visited Kingsmead on July 14th to give a presentation to next year's Year 13 students on the impact of particles from motor vehicles on the environment.
