On Wednesday 11th February Kingsmead Music Department presented a KS4 & 5 Chamber Concert. The evening featured performances of GCSE and A-Level coursework and we enjoyed solos performed by fifteen different students which entailed music from a wide range of different styles and eras including works by Mozart, The Kooks, Beethoven and Sting.

Two of the students who performed in the Concert are featured below:

Billy Muldoon

Billy is completing his A-Level Music studies in Yr 13. He is currently a member of the Kingsmead Choir and the Kingsmead School Orchestra as well as a school band. Billy also tutors and support the junior band. Last Summer billy took part in 'Hairspray - The School Musical' at the Lyric Theatre. Billy was recently one of the first recipients of the Kingsmead Wall of Fame award for excellence in the Performing and Visual Arts.

Sean D'Cruz

Sean is in Yr 13 completing his A-Level Music studies. He has been involved in many concerts and productions during his time at Kingsmead and last Summer, starred as Edna Turnblatt in 'Hairspray - The School Musical' at the Lyric Theatre.
