The Stand-up comedy workshop
KNOCK KNOCK . . . WHO'S THERE?
On the P&VA Day we visited the stand-up comedy workshop where we saw students of different classes come together and have fun.
Mr Richardson, the teacher in charge of the workshop, said that their major aim was to, "Boost up the students confidence level". He later went on to introduce me to Ekim, a year 8 student, who attended the same workshop last year. He told me that last year, "Ekim was very shy but now he has really improved!" I went to see the great Ekim at work and he left me in stiches.
I went around the workshop asking people about their favourite comedians and Darnell, a student in year 9, told me that he liked comedians like Jimmy Carr, Lee Evans and Omid Djali, "They're very inspiring!"
I was so fortunate to witness their genius because next time I know it won't be free!
