Four magnificent mosaic crests; two in red and gold and two in blue and white have been created by students working with the BIP team.
Earlier today, Enfield's Mayor inspected the work and was so impressed that he asked for a mosaic featuring the Enfield griffin to be created for his home.
A group of students putting the finishing touches to the Kingsmead crown in red and gold commented that sticking the grout on was the easiest part but, "Cutting the tiles to the right shapes and sizes to fit the little spaces was very tricky."
BIP mentor, Miss Batt summed up the morning's work, "We are proud because our displays will be shown in the Theatre and the reception and we have made a permanent contribution to the Kingsmead community."
The workshop was a hive of industry all morning and even headteacher Mrs Barry lent a hand when she visited.
