Apprentice Challenge

I reported on the Apprentice Challenge and interviewed some people from the Chocrocks team.

First they had a debate about the name but in the end decided on Crumbz as the chocolate crumbles when you eat it.  A year 7 said, "I'm very excited.  I'm sure we'll come first or second".  Meanwhile another year 7 said, "I'll think we'll win but there's good competition". The Crumbz slogan was 'Feel the crumble side of you'.  If you collect all 10 jokes from their chocolate you'll win a prize.  The jokes include:

'Why did the lobster Blush?'

'Because he saw the seaweed'

'Why did the one handed chicken cross the road?'

'To get to the second hand shop'

I also interviewed a few members of the Ignition team about their chocolate TicketWonder.

They created a Charlie and the chocolate factory idea with golden tickets but instead you win cinema tickets! One year 7 said "I think we'll win and we have a good chance" while another said "We might win"

At the end of the competition Chocrocks were accused of cheating by Ignition because they were looking at their work.

The winning presentation was Chocolatel'amour which was a couples' chocolate: for the boys, caramel; and the girls, strawberry.
