Touch Rugby

At Kingsmead, rugby doesn't have to be violent. Students participating in this activity were playing the game without fear of being hurt or violently tackled. Instead, the focus was on building team skills and exploring elements of the game. Josh Jordan from Year 12 was leading the practise with what looked like some exciting practise using tackle bags.

Students decribed the activity as a great opportunity to release stress and tension. They are encouraged to score as many points as possible as a team whilst boosting their confidence and having the opportunity to befriend students they may not meet in lessons.
