Students prepare for GCSE Textile Design

The exam board is AQA. 

TEXTILES in Year 10 and Year 11

This is a highly practical course with a strong emphasis on creativity. 

Students learn a variety of textile techniques including:

• appliqué,
• batik,
• felt-making,
• screen printing,
• silk painting and
• fashion design. 

ICT is embedded in all our projects through the use of computer aided design. 

We hold a Fashion Show every year to share the amazing talent of our young designers.
