Once again the staff and students joined forces and brought a little 60's feel to Friday 24th, Red Nose Day 2016, with the 6th form team and students dressing in 60's style clothes.

There were red nose and pin sales, cake sales throughout break and lunchtime, guess how many sweets in the jar, raffles and quizes and much more.

The generousity of our students and staff is always amazing and the final count will be updated here in a few days. Meanwhile, here's a few pictures from the day.

A fews words from Esra Gungor 12MAP

"I took part in Red Nose day to join staff and students to help raise money for Comic Relief.  Our school is always seeking ways in which we can help the less fortunate around the world.

This year we rasied over £600 and hope this makes a difference to some people's lives.

This opportunity brought our school together and allowed us to wrok as part of a team.

We look forward to next year when we can have more fun and innovate ways to raise both awareness and money for those out there who need it!"

Chelsea wrote "I love Red Nose Day, especially wearing the novelty red nose as it was fun and also raises awareness around issues in the world that need our support."
