The Head Boy and Head Girl together with their deputies are elected by the 6th form students and the teaching staff.
The Head Students provide positive role models for younger students and represent the student body at public events in school.
The Head Students have a weekly meeting with the Headteacher at which forthcoming events are discussed as well as wider aspects of their influence around the school, for example 6th form leadership of school council, 6th form mentoring of younger students and groups such as EPAK. When preparing speeches for public events, the Head Students are supported and coached by a deputy headteacher.
