Extended Project Qualification
Students are able to complete an individual project on a topic of their choice. Guided support, allocated mentor, regular mentoring meetings. EPQ results are Top XX nationally. Past projects include:
Career Guidance Workshops
Sixth Form students have one hour a week allocated careers guidance. Whereby students prepare for University progression; personal statement writing, work experience opportunities, CV development.
All students, regardless of areas of study, have an extra-curricular pathway. Subject areas offer extended learning through alumni mentoring, tailored excursions, performances, work experiences and summer contacts.
All students will sign up to a society that reflects their personal interests, long-term career aspirations or personal development. Students meet once a fortnight to discuss current affairs, learn what is new in their field of study and develop confidence and interpersonal skills linking to their own personal growth and progression.
Tailored Support and Guidance
Registration periods allocated to develop the ‘whole’ student through; current affair debates, inter-form sports competitions, peer workshops, student presentations and student reflections.
