North mid has partnered with Enfield council to bring a new and exciting mentoring Programme to young people within our local communities.

We would like to invite your students to a chance to apply to be mentored by one of our trained mentors.

15 members of staff from north mid have volunteered to be part of this fantastic Programme. They are all extremely passionate about young people within our local communities.
Each mentor will take part in a 3 week intensive training course, which has been created and will be delivered by Enfield council.
Our Mentors will also undergo an enhanced DBS before they commence their mentoring duties.

We are now recruiting mentees for the Programme and wanted to reach out to your organisation with this opportunity and would be grateful if you could let your young people know about this fantastic opportunity.

There are 15 spaces and we invite 2 applications from each organisation.
We will prioritise young people who live locally to north mid and we will have a waiting list if applications exceed our current spaces
The North Mid programme will be aimed at young people aged 13-19 who are identified as:

• The young person may be interested in a career in health but this is not an essential criteria
• In need of support with motivation
• In need of a positive role model
• Identifying and reaching their goals/aspirations using SMART goal settings

It is anticipated that the mentoring input would last for 3-6 months for each young person and that mentors and mentees would have contact on a twice-monthly basis.
North Mid mentors will be providing this support on a voluntary basis and it will be expected that they commit to support at least two young people in one year

Please see links below for more information and the application form which needs to be completed and returned to by Monday June 21st.
