Following on from the Recruitment Evening, students will complete a current application form available to download here, to indicate their progression intentions; this will be followed by an interview with a member of the Sixth Form team to discuss appropriate courses - taking into consideration interest, skills and prior attainment – this will take place in the Spring term.
Application Process for Non Kingsmead Students
Kingsmead welcomes applications from external students to follow Advanced Level subjects, but please be aware that consideration to external applicants will be given after internal students have been offered places. External students will be considered on the basis of their confirmed results at GCSE. Students must achieve at least an average of 40+ GCSE points (equivalent to 8 Cs and above), but please note that many subjects require a GCSE B grade in the subject to be studied at AS Level.
