Ekin has achieved outstanding A Level results and secured a place at Warwick University to read Law. Ekin studied Psychology (A*), Photography (A) and English Literature & Language (B), demonstrating both academic excellence and creativity across a diverse range of subjects.
Reflecting on her time in the Sixth Form, Ekin praised the supportive learning environment, the dedication and enthusiasm of her teachers, and the friendships she has made along the way. Ekin’s advice for younger students is simple but effective:
Start studying early and save yourself the stress. Even a few extra hours of study outside your free periods at school can make a big difference.
Adam achieved an impressive AAA in Mathematics, Economics and Psychology, securing a place at Bristol University to study Economics. He joined Kingsmead from Raglan Primary School and has worked consistently throughout his 7-year journey to achieve exceptional academic success. Reflecting on his time at Kingsmead Sixth Form, Adam credits the support of his teachers and the strength of the Psychology and Economics departments for helping him reach his goals.
His advice to younger students is to "study consistently throughout Years 12 and 13.” This steady approach has helped Adam achieve excellent results and gain a place at a top Russell Group university.
Ryan has secured a place at Birmingham Medical School, one of Britain's largest and oldest medical schools. Ryan studied Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry, achieving grades of A, A and B respectively. His success reflects the hard work, resilience and dedication required to gain entry to one of the country’s most competitive university courses.
The former Raglan Primary School reflected on his time at Kingsmead School and Sixth Form, highlighting the support he received from staff and the opportunities available to help students succeed. As he prepares to begin his medical training, Ryan is looking forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Rahmo achieved fantastic A Level results in Biology (A), Mathematics (B) and Chemistry (B), marking the culmination of years of hard work and dedication at Kingsmead School and Sixth Form.
Having joined Kingsmead from Bush Hill Park Primary School, Rahmo has built a strong academic foundation, previously achieving an impressive set of GCSE results across a wide range of subjects, including Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English Language, Geography, Media Studies and German.
Looking ahead, Rahmo is considering studying Biomedical Engineering, while also keeping her options open as she explores the subjects and career paths she is most passionate about. When asked why she would recommend Kingsmead Sixth Form, Rahmo commented:
There are lots of opportunities available, and staff are always willing to provide support and guidance. They take the initiative to help students who may be struggling and ensure everyone has the chance to succeed.

Having joined Kingsmead from Kingfisher Hall Primary Academy, Adam has taken full advantage of the academic support and opportunities offered throughout his time at the Sixth Form. Complete plenty of exam practice under timed conditions, start independent revision well before your mock exams and don’t leave coursework or homework until the last minute.
Having attained A grades in Biology and Maths alongside B grades in Physics and Chemistry, Alamin is looking forward to pursuing a degree apprenticeship in Civil Engineering in the future, combining higher education with valuable industry experience as he works towards his future career ambitions.

Lila is celebrating an impressive set of A Level results including an A* in Geography and A grades in Mathematics and Spanish. Having progressed through Kingsmead from Raglan Primary School, Lila’s achievements are the result of dedication, perseverance and a genuine passion for learning across a range of subjects.
Lila is looking forward to beginning an exciting new chapter at the University of Manchester, where she plans to study Politics and Spanish. When asked why she would recommend Kingsmead Sixth Form, Lila was quick to praise the staff who supported and encouraged her throughout her journey.
For Evinnaz, A Level Results Day marks the reward for two years of perseverance, ambition and a willingness to make the most of every opportunity available to her. She achieved an impressive AAB in Mathematics, Economics and Sociology and will now be progressing to the University of Exeter, where she will continue her academic journey, with her sights set on a future career as a Policy Analyst.

For Brian, A Level Results Day marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as he prepares to study Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London and pursue a career in Software Engineering. He achieved impressive results in Computer Science (A), Mathematics (A) and Economics (C), demonstrating both his technical ability and determination to succeed in subjects that will support his future ambitions.
The former Bush Hill Park Primary School pupil made the most of the opportunities available to him, developing the independent study skills and self-discipline needed to thrive in his academic studies. His advice for younger students is to “begin revising as early as possible, especially through exam-style questions. The more practice you do, the more confident you’ll become.”
When asked why he would recommend Kingsmead Sixth Form, Brian praised the independence students are given to take ownership of their learning:
There is a lot of freedom to develop your own independent study habits which prepares you well for university and beyond.
Stephanie’s success reflects both her creative talents and her commitment to developing her skills throughout her time at Kingsmead Sixth Form. She secured A grades in Media Studies and Photography, alongside a B in English Language and Literature.
Stephanie credits the support of her teachers, regular revision guidance and the extensive use of practice papers for helping her build confidence and achieve her goals. Stephanie plans to take a gap year to gain valuable work experience before deciding on her next steps. Year 13 student Crysya, who joined Kingsmead from George Spicer Primary School, has developed her creative talents through her A Level studies in Art, Photography and Music Technology.
Reflecting on her Sixth Form experience, Crysya credits the support and resources available to students with helping her stay focused on her goals and continue developing her skills. She particularly values the guidance provided when considering future pathways and ambitions. Following Sixth Form, Crysya plans to take a gap year, undertaking art commissions while exploring her longer-term options, including a possible university course in the future.

Year 13 student Lina, who joined Kingsmead from Belmont Junior School, has enjoyed success in English, Politics and Sociology, developing strong analytical, communication and critical thinking skills throughout her studies. This autumn, she will begin studying Law at Queen Mary University of London, taking the next step towards her ambition of becoming a lawyer.
Lina credits the support of her teachers with helping her achieve her goals, highlighting the guidance and encouragement she received both academically and when planning her future pathway. She advises younger students to stay organised, complete work promptly and ensure they catch up on any missed learning.
For the first time in Kingsmead’s history, three Year 12 students entered for A Level Mathematics a year early. George, Rafal and Neil all rose to the challenge of studying and sitting a full A Level alongside their Year 12 studies, achieving an outstanding set of results including an A* (George) and A (Rafal and Neil).
Taking an A Level a year ahead of schedule is a significant academic undertaking, requiring exceptional aptitude, commitment and resilience. To not only complete the qualification but to achieve such impressive grades is a remarkable accomplishment and reflects the dedication these students have shown throughout the year.
